Predicting Trinidad and Tobago GDP from Open Data

Crisis statement 

GDP is an indication of the growth and productivity of a country. Will there ever be sufficient data to make an acurate prediction?

This application is needed is to demonstrate the utility of Open Data for public good. Can we demonstrate that the more information we have the better the ability to predict the information.

Understanding that GDP is a complex indicator based on many factors the extent to which each factor can impact productivity is useful to know.

Needs statement 

Data from each of the factors of GDP.

Impact statement 

This will promote the liberalization of the data to show that more than just visualizations can take place. But policy makers and data gatekeepers will consider the analytical and predictive possibilities of Open Data for development.
